Having only been home from the vast experiences in Peru for three months, I have found myself smack in the middle of my process! It usually takes a full six months to fully process through massive change. I used to think that was ridiculous, how could anyone possibly need that much time? I would feel great for the first 2 - 3 months and then get whacked with a slew of realisations and big life questions. It seems to be my pattern. You may not think much is happening, but it's happening at the energetic levels, and then once things settle, comes the time of integrating all that new awareness into your actual life.
Integrity is about bringing your life into wholeness, it's about being totally honest with yourself. It is about bringing your true God, spiritual understanding and connection into your day to day. When we do this, we feel whole. We feel good. Life is in flow.
When we don't do this, we get out of balance. There is a disintegration of our wholeness. We become separated once again from our God-self. That is our sin, the original sin, becoming separate. So when we are not in full integrity with ourselves, in essence we are sinning, and therefore we feel we must be punished and so we do that to ourselves by spiralling down and forgetting all of our godliness and getting off track. Basically we let our ego's take over so we can stay in our old comfort zone of what we know.
The clearer you get, the trickier your ego will become! We commonly refer to it as self sabotage. So if for any reason you are not in flow, or feeling happy or BEING love, stop right now and ask yourself why? WHAT is it that is blocking you from being completely with integrity in every aspect of your life? Whatever is your first response, fear, sadness, anger is probably from a deep wounding early on, and if you look you may find the same response in different ways in various areas of your life.
Clarity is about being aware in the moment.
You can look to your power animals or look to your power friends to help you realise where you are with yourself in your path to integrity. Humans do not like change, even those of us who go in search of it! Transition can be a challenging time. We don't have a map of how to fit the new evolved state into the old structure. So habitually we go back to our old ways, which are no longer congruent with who we have become and so the internal struggle begins. So we need to stop, and notice.
Be gentle with yourself. We are a unified combination of mind, body and spirit and we need to take care of all three parts. Pause, breathe, drink some water, and step back to centre.

CHANGE HAS COME TO AMERICA!
It couldn't come soon enough in my humble opinion! Barack Obama said "This is not the change, this is the chance to make that change." He's got a big challenge ahead of him, and The People will expect miracles. It is human nature to expect immediate change once we have made a decision. We decide to lose weight and we want to see the pounds drop off immediately, we want visible motivation that our choice is working. It is the same with emotional and spiritual change. We want our partners, loved ones and parents to notice how much we've changed because inside we feel different, so why are we not getting the kudos we deserve for all of our hard work? Or we simply decide we have to change and think that that choice in itself is enough, that now we can rest on our laurels and watch the change happen.
Obama spoke about sacrifice. I personally do not like that word because it implies loss. I am happy to offer up whatever gifts to the Gods I need to with love and devotion, to invest in my becoming, even if that means surrendering to the great unknown. Each month on the full moon I hold a fire ceremony and we blow into a stick three things we'd like to let go of, to allow space for three things we'd like to invite in. It's energetic fung shui, using a stick as the symbolic tool to represent the death of the old and birth of the new. The fire transmutes the old energy into light. I never feel like I am sacrificing the things I am letting go of, I feel more like I am investing in myself, in my well being.
Barack Obama said strength comes from ideals. Ideals are the visionary ideas we hold sacred. He is such a shaman! We dream our reality into becoming. It is a way of manifesting that which is important to us. We need to put our energies, thoughts, prayers and intent with full focus into creating who we want to be, how, where and when. There is no magic happy pill. I have been saying for a while "The time to change is NOW!" I'm glad America has finally woken up to that realisation.
Obama will be a great leader because he believes, "We shall overcome! Yes we can!" It may sound like superficial political campaigning, but he has totally got the right idea. You want a healthy mind? You want a healthy heart? You want a healthy spirit? Then you need to start thinking in a healthy and positive way. How can you be your own leader? Take charge, right now and commit to change....and then engage with it!
Dogs keep appearing, even in this house of cats, two dogs came into it the other day. They generally signify faithfulness and protection. Their decendants are coyotes and wolves and each breed of dog has a different energy and function. In India the dog is a symbol of all caste systems, reflecting the small becoming great. It is appropriate that Obama should be inviting a puppy into the white house, as his lifetime is a perfect example of complete and total change being possible against all the odds. It takes a lot to break a dog's spirit. Its ability and willingness to love, even when abused is great. Are you being faithful to yourself? Does your spirit need bolstering?
Recently in a shamanic energy medicine class I was teaching up here in the north, everyone learned about pulling out crystalised energies from the auric field. It is a subtle thing, everyone had worked with energy before and could feel the differences in the field. I told them to get past their self judgement or disbelief that they were capable of finding it and pulling it out. It was so beautiful to see everyone have faith in themselves, their abilities and to so fully engage with the work. I would like to offer a weekend of shamanic energy medicine in London. I think more and more people are returning to the earth.
I need to confirm these dates (which I will do in the next week) but I am potentially offering Basic Shamanic Energy Medicine on Saturday December 6th and Advanced Shamanic Energy Medicine on Sunday December 7th. I apologise for the cancellation of my recent Theta Classes. It is an interesting reflection on the economy of change. People have expressed more interest in earth medicine, the spirit and energy of things, surrendering to the unknown and having more faith rather than taking charge and diving into our unconscious for immediate "tweaking" of our neural pathways, what Theta Healing helps you do. It doesn't matter how you go about it, but do something!
